Angie Covil has served as a trustee for the Plumas Lake Elementary School District since 2017, helping to guide the district through times of growth, challenges, and successes. Her professional experience spans various leadership roles in education, where she has focused on creating equitable learning opportunities and improving student outcomes.
 
Angie is currently a Federal Programs and Intervention Coordinator, helping charter schools design and implement programs that address the needs of struggling learners, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines while maximizing student support. Her work as a Science Curriculum Specialist and Director of High School further exemplifies her dedication to innovative curriculum design, effective teacher training, and fostering inclusive environments where students can thrive. Passionate about school policy and finance, she is devoted to building a strong school community and empowering educators with the resources and tools needed to meet the diverse needs of their students and families.
 
Angie holds a California Administrative Services credential and a Master of Educational Technology with an emphasis in Online Learning. She is committed to ensuring that the district maintains fiscal responsibility while prioritizing strong academic achievement, student wellness, and social-emotional development.
